The Sailors/DeLancey Jazz Orchestra on Valentine’s Day

Bring Your Sweetheart to This Exciting 17-Piece Jazz Orchestra at Perspective2!

February, 14th, 6-9 pm

This wonderful Orchestra is comprised of some of the finest musicians in the Michigan area, the S.D.J.O. is the only Jazz orchestra in Michigan that exclusively performs original music, composed by Sailors and other members of the band. In keeping with the traditions of the great big bands of year's past, the S.D.J.O. combines exceptional musicianship with exciting and adventurous compositions. The result is an exciting new band, with its own unique sound.

Family friendly presentation intended to provide the Lansing area with quality arts programming.

There is a $5-20 recommended donation per person. Your donation will be held for you at the will call window when you come to the event.

Also, there will be a cash refreshment snack bar available.

Additional performances will be on Sunday, Feb. 21st and Sunday, Feb 27th

Inspiring Women’s Collaborative Café

Spend an evening co–creating our future with a community of Inspiring Women! This cafe creates space for great minds and hearts to come together for the purpose of being inspired by and inspiring other women! This event will be fun, with enlightening conversation for and about all women–café style! (light meal served)

We had a sold out house last year for this jazz and dinner extraviganza... so don't miss this year’s "Mardi Gras in Old Town". Wess Anderson is bringing his friends from New Orleans -- Herlin Riley (Wynton Marsalis Band) and Shannon Powell (Harry Connick, Jr. Band)!

Gumbo & Jazz’s Desi Anderson is creating a fantastic dinner menu featuring: Seafood Gumbo, Crawfish Etouffee, Stuffed Bell Peppers, Cornbread Dressing, Boudin, Venison Sauce Piquant, Smothered Pork Chops, and 20 other Louisiana cuisine dishes (not to mention Hot Bread Pudding and vegetarian dishes)!
