Perspective2 is an urban cool creative venue for special events in the heart of Old Town, Lansing.
Our friendly staff can help you create one-of-a-kind weddings, receptions, fundraisers, private parties and more.
Studio A Is our feature studio. It is open, warm and inviting with beautifully restored hardwood floors, a vintage Chicago brick feature wall, an art deco tin ceiling and great views of historic Old Town — Michigan's original State Capitol. Studio A offers many amenities including; a baby grand piano, plush theater curtains, stage lighting, a built in sound system and a large contemporary kitchen. Perfect for weddings, receptions, parties, fundraisers, live entertainment, dancing and more. Studio A comfortably seats up to 150 guests for formal dinners and up to 200 for mix-and-mingle style events.
Studio B is a wonderful expansion of Studio A. It connects to Studio A by our gallery hallway and by a more private set of double doors near the kitchen. Studio B makes a wonderful intimate urban chapel and dresses up beautifully when draped with white sheers and soft up lights. Studio B is also great for a dressy dinner buffet, a large green room for entertainers / dignitaries, a back stage ready room for theatre or fashion shows, and great space for silent auctions for fundraisers.
Studio B seats 60-70 comfortably as a chapel and 30 to 40 guests at tables for dining.
If used independently, Studio B may be rented for training sessions or classes with a digital projector and screen. It is also highly desired for private, "high key" professional photo shoots.
The Prop-Shop is our optional, built-in, boutique photo booth and is totally unique to Perspective2. It is a small studio chock full of great props and mini-sets for big photo fun. You can even use our professional studio lights with your own point and shoot camera. Guests can shoot like pros and we make it easy... no fuss, lots of flair and tons of fun!

Pricing for Parties, Fundraisers, Live Performances and Community Events
An important question guests have is "how much does it cost to an event at P2?" An excelent question. Since no event is exactly like another, we customize your pricing based on several factors including; the type of event, day and date, number of guests and what amenities you would like to pair with your special event.
If you would like to schedule a meeting with one of our events specialists please email us or call our office at 517-853-5880. Our normal business hours for scheduled appointments are Tuesday-Friday Noon-6pm. After hours or Saturday appointments may be made by special arrangement.
Pricing for Weddings: Weddings are as wonderful and unique as the bride and groom. Perspective2 and our staff take extra care to make sure your wedding day is truly special and all the "I’s" are dotted and "T’s are crossed with your venue. Our extra attention to detail, creativity and personalization help make your wedding and/ or reception like no other. Weddings and/or receptions booked Friday through Sunday often range in price from $1,500-3,500 depending on the month, number of guests, facility layout, special decor, lighting, and aditional amenities. P2 offers flexible payment options to fit everyone's needs.
Special Pricing: P2 offers discounts to non-profit organizations, events booked weeknights (excluding Fridays) and events booked 6 or more months in advance.
